"The 2013 Dyer Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain, which is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, displays a dense, opaque ruby/purple color and notes of creosote, charcoal embers, crème de cassis and touches of blackberry and blueberry notes. The wine is ripe, but pulls back before going over the edge. It has a full-bodied mouthfeel, beautiful purity, and overall impressive symmetry and integration of tannin, wood, alcohol and acidity. Drink it over the next 20 years."

"Dyer's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a real head-turner. An exotic mélange of aromas and flavors jumps from the glass. Deep, inky and utterly impeccable, the 2013 stands out for its nuance. White truffles, blackberry jam, pencil shavings and blood orange are all layered into the super-expressive finish."
