He writes "With 2001, Bill and Dawnine Dyer have produced one of the best ever from their tiny 2.2 acre vineyard. A dark garnet color leads to a firmly packed nose of black olives, figs, cocoa and plum. On the palate the flavors show great intensity with complex shadings of black cherry, currant and spice. Their upcoming offering from Meteor Vineyard was one of my favorite at Premiere Napa Valley 2005."
