Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Dyer Vineyard; Excellent Cabernet Sauvignon Grown On Diamond Mountain
The 2014 is another in a string of excellent vintages. Lovely tannin development in the vineyard translated into vibrant fruit and velvety firmness that extracted completely in the fermentation. This is one of our most graceful wines to date.

What The Critics Are Saying…
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Intensely aromatic and finely sculpted, but also resonant in the glass, the 2014 has a lot going on. Today, the fruit is understandably quite primary. With another few years, though, the 2014 should be a real jewel of a wine. Inky blue/purplish fruits, graphite, lavender and menthol are laced into the exquisite, delicate finish. Dyer remains one of the true undiscovered gems of Napa Valley. This is a style that will appeal most to classically leaning palates. Tasted 12/16, 93 points

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain: The nose is an intense black plum and alluring black current, spice with shadings of mint and wet stone. The palate is beautifully poised black fruit on entry with an underlying chocolate and rich yet sleek brown spices all merging into a long, bright, well-defined vibrant finish.
